In the lap of 'Raigad', on the bank of River 'Gandhari', amidst thick plantations of coconut, mango, cashew and chikku, Tranquility resort is a eco-friendly complex constructed out of konkan special laterrite stone covered with manglore tiles.
The rustic complex is comprised of six artistically designed premium rooms. It has a fully equipped mini theatre in the center. The entire complex appears like a chariot of seven horses. The resort is completely air conditioned.Each room is self sufficient with premium mattress, bed linen and duets with a modern toilet block. There is a tea / coffee maker and 24" LCD TV with Dish TV connection. Each room provides a garden view through its independent balcony. The balconies are arranged in a peculiar way to preserve privacy. Rooms are smartly illuminated.
The resort has 24 x 7 supply of hot as well as cold water.Entrance of the complex has a professionally developed swimming pool with beautifully landscaped Sun-moon deck. There are relaxing loungers and comfortable, umbrella covered garden furniture. In house music system and a LCD projector.
On the north of the resort, a comfortable sit out "Aamrai" with lotus pond located. One can have tasty morning-evening snacks or dinner or children can enjoy in the outdoor play area.
The stilt area is also tastefully landscaped. Every triangle between the rooms has got different flowering trees. The activity area consists of pool-table. Table-tennis table, caroms, chessboard and small library. One corner is developed as a cactus-rock comer. Gents and Ladies changing rooms are also located in the stilt.
For leisurely morning - evening walks, a waking track is designed through the plantation for round Agro Tour. At the back side of the farm, the farmers' rooms and a cow shade and vermin-culture plant is located. From the RAIGAD POINT, of the track one can have glimpses of the fort RAIGAD. The walking track ends in a WILD CORNER. The hammocks are tied to jungle trees to relax in soothing shadow.
The cycle club of the resort has six well maintained bicycles for cycle torus around the area.In the safe parking area, 6 to 8 vehicles can be easily parked. It is also provided with a self contained DRIVER ROOM. It can be occupied by 3 to 4 drivers at a time. A separate T.V. with dish T.V. connection is provided for their entertainment.The entire complex is power backed up by the KIRLOSKAR-GREEN generator.
